Founded in 1983
Cosabella, which means “beautiful thing” in Italian, was founded by the husband-and-wife team of Ugo and Valeria Campello 40 years ago. Now a second-generation family business, the company operates out of Miami, where its designs are inspired by Italian haute couture and styling, and manufactures its products in Europe using only the highest-grade fabrics and artisanship.
Cosabella has a rich history that started in Miami, where our founders brought in cotton underwear, stockings, and one-piece garments from Italy. Since the beginning, Cosabella has been at the forefront of innovation. Our mission has always been to create a brand that is inclusive and open to everyone, regardless of their gender, age, sexual orientation, or body size. What makes Cosabella unique?
Aside from its Italian timeless design which was very appealing which started back in 1983, it was the material in the bralettes that made them stand out. Having a supporting bra without the underwire brought comfort to its customers. The introduction of power mesh then opened up new sizing categories such as Extended, Curvy, Super Curvy, and Ultra Curvy. This offered comfort for various body types, increasing its inclusivity to a wider audience. The balance between the Italian Lace style, comfort, support, and a great fit and yet get a great sexy feel makes the experience unique and personal.
Never Say Never Curvy Sweetie Bralette
The Curvy collection from Cosabella addresses the need for fuller busts to feel fully supported in beautiful lace bralettes. The Never Say Never ULTRA-Curvy Sweetie Bralette is a wire-free style that features wider straps to avoid digging into the shoulders and bigger cups for coverage and support. The lining is soft and smooth and the lace is intricately detailed.
Unlike many other brands that only offer bralettes in core-sized proportions, Cosabella offers four size ranges: Regular, Curvy, Petite, and Extended. The Regular sizes cover cup sizes A through D, while the Curvy lines focus on busts ranging from a E through H. The Petite range covers band sizes 28 through 38, and the Extended bralettes encompass size 40DD and up.

Cosabella Lingerie
After immigrating to Miami, Valeria Campello created Cosabella to bring delicate and feminine Italian-made lingerie to the American market. A few years later, after becoming a savvy businesswoman and working closely with both her artisan vendors and her customers, she began designing her own products.
The new collection included bras, panties and sleepwear with intricate lace in a range of sizes from petite to curvy and even post-surgical solutions and maternity. The brand also introduced the Soire microfiber mesh line that is now softer, 50 percent lighter, and stretchier than before with a barely-there look and feel.
The family business now includes Guido and his siblings, who continue to create lingerie and accessories with an emphasis on femininity and the perfect balance of American innovation and Italian craftsmanship. At the flagship store in New York City this month, Guido is explaining a fall 2013 collection that includes fluorescent bras and thongs that glow under black light, as well as a new range of colorful sheer mesh bra and panty styles.
