Why we love Women’s Day 2020
As a female-founded company, we cherish our relationship with women. Our lingerie and sleepwear pieces are crafted in mind for the everyday woman, who inspires us all the time.
Our founder, Valeria Campello, started Cosabella in Miami after emigrating from Italy. She felt inspired to start a company that embodies the dedicated and sophisticated Italian spirit with classic pieces still handcrafted in Italy.
Did you know our company is run by mostly women? Our offices in Miami, New York and Italy are full of diverse women from around the world.
Valeria shared with us a fun little fact from her hometown in Italy. On International Women’s day, it’s customary to gift the women in your life with a yellow Mimosa flower as a sign of respect and appreciation.
These delicate flowers have quickly become a symbol for the international holiday.
Our designers were deeply inspired by this monumental symbol and included the bright yellow shade, Mimosa, in our best-selling Never Say Never and Soire Confidence collections.
We think this yellow color looks flattering on many skin tones and it’s the perfect way to brighten up your lingerie drawer with a splash of color.
Fun fact: The Soire collection is one of the first collections Valeria launched over 30 years ago at Cosabella. This lightweight yet powerful mesh is loved by women around the world for its durable support and airy feel.
