Finding the Perfect Nursing Bra: Cosabella

Did you know August is National Breastfeeding Awareness Month? Latest studies highlight the numerous benefits of breastfeeding for both mothers and babies and this month is dedicated to promoting breastfeeding awareness around the globe. So in celebration of this empowering movement as a nursing mom, I want to share with you my favorite nursing bra collection that I recently discovered.

There are many important choices to make as a new mom, and you would never think choosing the right nursing bra would be one of them. But any nursing mom will tell you that choosing the right nursing bra can make all the difference in your breastfeeding journey by providing the right support, comfort and style.

“Support, comfort and style are key to finding the perfect nursing bra”

Wearing the right nursing bra can make countless breastfeeding sessions feel more natural and enjoyable. Breastfeeding is not easy and in the early weeks, you have to nurse around-the-clock, every 2-3 hours to be exact. So unless you want to deal with ill-designed nursing hooks and uncomfortable fabric against your skin at 2 am while your baby is crying to be fed, it’s crucial that you find the perfect nursing bra to help you, not annoy you, while you breastfeed.

This is my third time breastfeeding and I’ve tried many nursing bras over the course of my breastfeeding journey. One of my favorites nursing bras is from the Cosabella nursing bra selection because they are comfortable, provides good amount of support (which is much needed when breasts double or sometimes triple in size) and most importantly, pretty to look at.

One of my biggest problems with the previous nursing bras I’ve tried was the fact that they are plain ugly to look at, making my not-so-sexy body feel even less sexy. I’ve purchased some more affordable and well-reviewed nursing bras on Amazon which seemed to do its job at first, but the quality was lacking that they began to look worn out after only a few washes without ever being in the dryer.

I’m really glad I found Cosabella nursing bras this time around. Here is a round up of my favorite Cosabella nursing bra styles.

1. Talco Maternity Nursing Bra in Nude

This is one of the most comfortable nursing bras I’ve worn. Made with Cosabella’s signature viscose, this style is a popular choice even in the yoga community. No underwire and messy pads attached- it’s very wearable, breathable and soft against my skin. The hooks are easy to clip on and off and I especially love the way it feels against my skin.

2. Never Say Never Mommie Nursing Bra (Black & Blush)

I love this style for comfort and pretty looks. It’s one of Cosabella’s most popular style turned into a maternity and breastfeeding friendly version and it’s one of the prettiest nursing bra styles I’ve seen. You can’t even tell this is a nursing bra without looking at it up close.

I’m personally a huge fan of bralettes because I don’t like dealing with hooks in the back. Even when I’m not nursing, I normally live in bralette style bras. This lace bralette is perfect for me with easy clip-on/clip-off nursing hooks with lightly padded cups. It also provides good amount of support.

Just be sure to refer to their sizing chart before ordering because the width is not adjustable.

3. Trenta Wireless Nursing Bra (White)

This is another great wireless nursing bra that provides enough support. The hooks are easy to use and the cups are lightly lined. I like the fact that the lace is smooth and can be worn under T-shirts. This one feels good against my skin and is lightweight and pretty.
