Female Empowerment with our Founder

Have you met Valeria Campello?

The original Cosabella woman

In honor of International Women’s Day, we want to celebrate a woman who inspires and empowers us each and every day, our female founder, Valeria.

Just over 30 years ago, Valeria Campello had just moved to Miami from Italy. Restless and eager to work, Valeria set out to found her own lingerie company, Cosabella with her husband, Ugo.

Valeria understood the quality of Italian crafted goods and wanted to share these with America. Learn more about Cosabella’s beginning here.

Husband and wife duo, Ugo and Valeria Campello

Cosabella began with the introduction of our first collection, Soire, which remains one of our best-sellers to this day. Designed in a super comfortable (and supportive) power mesh, Soire is the perfect everyday lingerie for any look.

Now with over a dozen staple collections and countless fashion groups (and colors!), Cosabella has become a lingerie brand go-to for many women within the past 3 decades.

Did you know that Cosabella remains a family-owned business? Valeria’s two children, Guido and Silvia, work in-house as CEO and COO, respectively.

Still reigning as Cosabella’s Senior Vice President, Valeria inspires us each and every day as the classic “Cosabella Woman”.

In an interview with Valeria, she answered a few of our questions about herself and Cosabella.

What would you say you women who want to start their own business?

Have a strong passion. No matter what the business is, there’s going to be ups and downs, and moments when you want to give up. You must have passion because it’s the only thing that will help you endure hard times and enjoy the great ones.

In one word describe yourself.

Daring. I love challenges and I am open to new adventures. I give myself to reach any goal passionately, willfully and resiliently.

Describe the Cosabella Woman.

She’s the kind of woman I think everybody should be in life: secure, outgoing, feminine.
