



Cathy Anderson moved to Washington, DC in early 2013 as transplant from Atlanta, GA. Raised in Jacksonville, Florida, she attended Florida State University and quickly made her way to Manhattan after graduation to follow her passion for the fashion industry. While there, she did editorial work for such major books as People StyleWatch, CosmoGirl, and J-14 magazine, where she assisted on countless photo shoots, wrote about the latest teen heartthrobs, and developed her keen eye for achieving great style while on a budget. After four years of NYC life, she launched her own personal style blog, Poor Little It Girl, and moved to Georgia to work as the Style Editor for Atlanta Magazine. Last year, she moved to Washington, DC where to continues to work on her blog, which has been featured on Refinery 29, Who What Wear and The Washington Post. Cathy also currently serves as co-founder for Southern Blog Society, a successful blogger networking community based in the southeast which hosted their 2nd annual blogger networking conference this summer!
