Erin Fetherston, Cosabella Fete Bridal Collection

To help celebrate our new bridal collection with Erin Fetherson we threw a fabulous fête at Willow Road here in New York City. Erin’s recent nuptials to Gabe Saporta happen to be the cover story for this month’s Martha Stewart Weddings along with being a major inspiration for the collection. Darcy Miller Editorial Director for Martha Stewart Weddings hosted the event and helped with creating Great Gatsy-esque feeling to the event which complemented Erin’s dreamy aesthetic of the collection perfectly.

The mood was set as soon as guested walked into Willowroad rustic chic setting with Carte Blanche, a six-piece jazz ensemble repped by Elan Artists, played American, French, and Latin standards from the 1920s through the ’40s.

Contributing editor to Martha Stewart Weddings, event and floral designer Matthew Robbins created all-white flower arrangements displayed in mint julep cups and mercury glass all adding to the vintage feel of the day.

Vintage suitcases and a 1920’s wardrobe steamer trunk were used to display Erin’s delicate collection. Martha Stewart Weddings provided vintage dress forms to display some of Erin’s signature weddings bridal gowns from her past collections.

For dessert, One Girl Cookies recreated an all-white cake bar.

For our guests to take home Darcy created custom favors that incorporated lingerie sketches printed by Smitten on Paper, wrapped around a box created by stationer extraordinaire Cheree Berry. Boxes were filled with One Girl Cookies sandwich cookies inspired by detailing seen on pieces in Erin’s lingerie collection. Finished with a message from Darcy calligraphed on to the tags by Deborah Nadel.
