Launched by Ralph Lauren under the leadership of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), Fashion Targets Breast Cancer (FTBC) initiatives have been embraced by the world’s leading fashion designers, models, photographers, and industry partners. Together they have helped to raise more than $55 million to date.
The CFDA Foundation works with the New York Community Trust and has developed a focused grant-making program covering the critical areas of breast cancer screening, treatment, and survival.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the CFDA and eBay for Charity are teaming up to support FTBC.
Starting October 8 – 18, fashion-lovers can visit www.eBay.com/CFDA to browse exclusive and special-priced items, of which 100% of the proceeds will benefit FTBC.
eBay for Charity empowers their community to find their passions while also donating to the causes they care about. eBay for Charity raised $84 million in donations for charities in 2017 and has set a goal to raise $1 billion for charity by 2020.

Why is supporting Fashion Targets Breast Cancer important to you?
As a company and family, breast cancer hits very close to home. We understand the difficulties, emotions, and support required through the treatment process. We support organizations that contribute to preventative medicine, improved treatments, and family comfort. We are appreciative that FTBC and the CFDA have been instrumental in building the fashion industry’s fundraising and awareness for this special cause.
Can you tell us about the exclusive inventory that will be found on eBay?
We chose to create something we have never done before! Our founder, a breast cancer survivor herself, pioneered the color and comfort of the world of underwear we see today. Since 1983, Cosabella has been synonymous with providing women a means to express themselves through color details in undergarments and layering. Individuality starts from the first layer, and this auction offers our first ever one year supply of Cosabella bottoms.
