Improve Your Weeknight Routine
Simple steps to have a successful tomorrow
Sometimes it can feel like when we get home from work, there’s a million things to get done but not enough time. Creating a stress-free weeknight routine will help you relax after a long day’s work while also prepping for a productive tomorrow.
Here are some tips that we use to have a more peaceful night.
Tidy up for 10 minutes
Set a timer on your phone for 10 minutes and do a quick cleaning around your home. Put away things that have been left out, place dirty dishes in the dishwasher, toss any junk mail; the point is to work quickly and lightly. Just doing a quick sweep can make it look way better–you’d be surprised how much you can organize in just 10 short minutes.

Set your goals for tomorrow
It only takes a few minutes to get ready for tomorrow. You can pre-pack your lunch, lay out your outfit and organize your purse, but you can also plan out your tasks. Set yourself up for a productive day by jotting down a few goals to accomplish the next day.
Pamper yourself
It’s important at the end of the day to take some time to recharge yourself. Whether it’s taking a hot bath, lighting a new candle, or cozying up in your favorite pajamas, take the time to treat yourself.

Our favorite thing to do once we get home is slip into a pair of matching pajamas; you’ll instantly feel chic, put-together AND comfortable. What more could you want?
Take time to reflect
After a long day hustling at work, be sure to take the time at the end of the day to reflect. Think about the day’s events and everything you were able to accomplish. By being more aware of what happened, you can practice being more mindful during the day.

Unwind & unplug before bed
We all know that staring at your phone before going to bed can wreak havoc on your sleep. So, instead, find a soothing hobby you enjoy, such as reading, knitting, or even light yoga, to do for 30 minutes before you hit the hay. We promise you’ll wake up feeling a lot more refreshed.
